ഒരു മുത്തശ്ശി കഥാ

ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ഒരു മുത്തശ്ശി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒരു പഴയ വീട്ടിൽ ഒറ്റക്കെയാണ് താമസിചിരുന്നത്. അതിനടുത്തായി വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു കുളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പഴയ ഗ്രാൻഡ് മായ്ക്ക് വീട്ടിൽ ഒരു കിണർ ഇല്ല. ദൈനംദിന ആവശ്യത്തിനായി അവർ കുളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുവരുമായിരുന്നു, അവരുടെ വീട്ടിൽ രണ്ട് കലങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ദിവസവും അവർ കുളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വെള്ളം എടുക്കുന്നു, ഒരു കലത്തിൽ വശത്ത് ഒരു ദ്വാരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ദിവസവും അവർ കുളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മുഴുവൻ വെള്ളം കൊരുന്നു പക്ഷേ നിർഭാഗ്യവശാൽ ഒരു കലത്തിലെ ദ്വാരം കാരണം അവർക്ക് ഒരു കലം വെള്ളം മാത്രമേ ലഭിച്ചുള്ളൂ. ഒരു ദിവസം അവരുടെ അയൽക്കാരൻ മുത്തശ്ശിയോട് ചോദിച്ചു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്തിനാണ് ചോർച്ചഉള്ള കലത്തിൽ വെള്ളം കൊരുന്നന്നത്.മുത്തശ്ശി അവനെ നോക്കി. അപ്പോൾ മറുപടി "ഏകാന്തത ഒരു വലിയ ശിക്ഷയാണ്, പക്ഷേ ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ ഒരു കലം വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് എന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയിൽ ചോർന്നൊലിക്കുന്നു, പക്ഷേ അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് എനിക്ക് സന്തോഷവും ഏകാന്തതയും കുറയ്ക്കുന്ന നിരവധി ജീവിതങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളത്". മുത്തശ്ശിയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള വഴി വളരെ മനോഹരമായി കാണപ്പെട്ടു. ദിവസേനയ...

Lonely grand ma

There was a grandmother in  a village . Lived alone in an old house. Nearby there was a pond with full of water . The old grand ma doesn't have a well at home. For the daily purpose she used to fetch water from the pond and she had two pots in her home. Daily she fetches water from pond and one of the pot had a hole in side. Daily she fetches full pot of water from pond but unfortunately because of the hole in the one of pot, she only  got one  pot of water. One day her neighbour asked to grand ma why are you fetching water in the leaking pot.The grand ma smiled and looked him. Then answered "loneliness is a big punishment but here when i fetch a pot water and leaks over the way to my home but because of that there are many lives which provides me happy and reduce the loneliness". The way to grand ma home looked so beautiful. It was because of the daily watering, made the way greenery.

It lies about 100 meters from the mainland at Dharmadam. The island, covered with coconut palms and dense bush, can be seen from the Muzhappilangad beach, from which permitted people can walk out to the island during low tide. Dharmadam, known earlier as Dharmapattanam. In 1998, the Kerala Government took over this land for tourism development. Dharmadam is located 4 km from the town of Thalassery.
